Known as an “estate doctor” when practicing law, she has worked with some of the most complex and chaotic estates in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia, Washington, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, and Maine. Resolving complicated and messy estates is the challenge she most enjoyed as an advocate. Her experience also spans generations-long relationship situations, nine-figure estates, family business successions, and high-stakes divorce consultations.

ESTATE AND TRUST EXPERT WITNESS

Ms. Allison’s credentials include her juris doctor from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s in Taxation from Emory University, designation as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) from the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, and three certifications in mediation. From Pepperdine University’s College of Law / Straus School of Dispute Resolution, her certificates include one in Mediating the Litigated Case and another for Elder Care Mediation. From The Mediation Institute, she is certified in Family and Divorce mediation. She was an Assistant General Counsel for Litigation for HEW (now the federal Department of Health and Human Services) and an Estate and Gift Tax Attorney for the IRS before entering private practice as an estate attorney. Her career also includes Adjunct Professorships, and more than 40 years in demand as a continuing education provider for attorneys, CPAs, and financial planners.
